- A post from the Royal Paws Pet Salon’s Facebook page claims people are glittering their dog’s testicles
- The post has two images one with a pair of blue glitter testicles and one with gold glitter testicles
- A post from earlier in the month from Groomery Foolery posted an image of dog testicles they had glittered with corn syrup and edible glitter
In 2019 it appears pet owners may be making a push for one of the oddest beauty enhancements for animals yet. People are glittering their dog’s testicles.
While it is not clear how many people have actually paid someone to make their dog’s privates look like a Christmas tree ornament gone wrong, there is somewhat of a viral social media push behind at least three images.
On Thursday, Royal Paws Pet Salon in High Point, North Carolina made a post on Facebook with two images. The first one shows a dog with gold glitter on his testicles while the second image shows a dog with blue glitter on his testicles.
The pet salon says this could be the next grooming trend, but the Royal Paws Pet Salon has opted out of offering this service. It is not clear where the salon found the images, but the post says they were shared out for entertainment purposes.
I just thought I would let everybody know the latest creative grooming trend is glitter balls! Please know that I love doing creative but I will not be doing this LOL. Posting for your entertainment.
Earlier in the month on January 7, Groomery Foolery made a post on their Facebook page with an image showing a dog with blue glitter on his testicles. It sounds like this salon was responsible for glittering the dog’s testicles. With almost 1,000 shares so far, there is at least a little buzz online over the possible new pet fad. The post claims the trick is corn syrup and edible glitter, which creates some pretty “sweet balls.”
I have seen so many things in this career. Very few things surprise me.
Yet here I sit looking at glitter dog balls. 😂
ETA: done using corn syrup and edible glitter. Those are some sweet balls.
