An emergency protection order has been approved for a 12-year-old transgender child in Achille, Oklahoma after a group of parents reportedly led by 43-year-old Burney Crenshaw have made serious threats that include cutting off the child’s penis.
The horrible statements were made in the Achille ISD Parent Group on Facebook after Burney’s 37-year-old wife Jamie Crenshaw made a post showing outrage over a transgender child known as “Maddie” using the female restroom at school. The post was a “heads up” to the parents of 5th through 7th-grade girls.
Heads up parents of 5th thru 7th grade girls. The transgender is already using the girls bathroom. We have been told how the school has gone above and beyond to make sure he has his own restroom yet he is still using the girls. REALLY….looks like it’s gonna be a long year. We have made school board meetings over this situation last year but nothing seems to be changing. This is the same kid that got an trouble as soon as he transferred two years ago for looking over the stalls in the girls bathroom. Enough is enough. – with Burney Crenshaw.
Both Burney and Jamie are from Colbert, Oklahoma. The couple reportedly own Crenshaw Chemical & Fertilizer, located just a mile and a half from Achille. Burney was also the former president of the Texoma Junior Rodeo Association. In 2006 he was convicted of domestic abuse in Bryan County, but the charges were dismissed after he served a deferred sentence.
Several other posts against transgenders from Burney were also screenshot and have been spreading online. One of the posts was from April 24, another from June 27, and the last one was posted on August 9, the same day Jamie’s post would be shared out by another member of the group.
Jamie’s post in the group resulted in very hateful comments by multiple people and quickly turned into threats against the child. Aubrey Chester, a member of the Facebook group took screenshots of the conversation and posted them to her Facebook on August 9. Her post has since gone viral and been shared over 1,600 times. A judge issued an emergency protection ordered the day after Chester’s post was made.
I know other people are posting these as well but the original post got deleted. DO BETTER. THIS IS SICKENING.
Seth Shelbie Cooper suggested in the comments that Jamie and Burney have their son Parker beat up Maddie. “Let Parker whip his ass until he quits coming to school,” Cooper writes. Waylon Lott responds, “I let the queer teacher get me worked up! This is even worse! Lol.” Cooper then says, “Lmao, both cases are BS, neither one of them should be allowed near th school.”
In another comment, 79-year-old Eddie Belcher says, “If he wants to be a female make him a female. A good sharp knife will do the job really quick.” Kevin Bickerstaff, a 58-year-old bus driver for Frontier Airlines, commented: “Just tell the kids to kick ass in the bathroom and it won’t want to come back!” Bickerstaff is also a member of Texoma Junior Rodeo Association, which Burney used to be president.
Since the post went viral the Achille ISD Parent Group appears to have been removed from Facebook. Along with the Facebook group, several of the people making comments have deleted their profiles. However, if it the deleted accounts and group were an attempt to destroy the posts, it is too late as the Internet has done what it does best in these situations and preserved them forever.
