Danielle Ann the Dr Phil “Cash me outside” girl suicide hoax

13-year-old Danielle Ann has found herself as the newest Internet meme after her appearance on Dr. Phil

  • The young girl’s phrase “Cash me outside” has gone viral

  • The satire site NBC-News.net posted a viral article claiming the girl committed suicide

  • The viral satire story comes not even a month after 12-year-old Katelyn Nichole Davis committed suicide on a livestream

Just days ago the Internet claimed its newest victim, a troubled 13-year-old girl from the Dr. Phil show who challenged the audience go outside and unknowingly became a viral meme.

Barbara Ann took her daughter Danielle on Dr. Phil looking for help. During the show, Danielle challenged everyone to a fight by saying, “Catch me outside. How bout dat?”

Due to the young girl’s slang and attitude, the Internet interpreted it as, “Cash me outside. How bow dah?.”

The phrase is now spreading quicker than an unwanted rash, and this 13-year-old girl is making her rounds on the Web.

One satire site took the meme to the next level. NBC-News.net decided to post an article titled “‘Cash Me Outside’ Girl Found Dead After Apparent Suicide.”

The article claims that due to bullying at her school, and a leaked video of Danielle being drug from a car and repeatedly hit in the head by another girl, the girl committed suicide.

The article goes as far as to say that her mother found her in her bedroom and rushed her to the hospital where she later died.

NBC-News.net is a satire site, and one of the more tasteless ones at that. Surviving only off bullshit stories, with little to no concern about anything, as long as they get their clickbait revenue.

If you scroll to the bottom on any of the pages, it clearly reads, “The stories posted on nbc-news are for entertainment purposes only. The stories may mimic articles found in the headlines, but rest assured they are purely satirical.”

The satire story comes not even a month after 12-year-old Katelyn Nichole Davis hung herself on a livestream. NBC-News.net is carelessly poking at a very real problem the country is facing. A younger generation that is learning to turn to suicide as an answer to their problems.

While Danielle clearly has some issues that she needs to deal with, perhaps becoming a meme, being ridiculed by hundreds of thousands of strangers online, and now seeing a viral story of her own suicide is not exactly what she needs to help her.

Keep it classy Interwebz.
