Known crying Neo-Nazi Christopher Cantwell is once again receiving unwanted attention after being publicly called out for being a federal informant.
Cantwell caught the eye of millions in a documentary be VICE titled, “Charlottesville: Race and Terror.” In the documentary, Cantwell is seen as a leader of sorts for the white supremacist “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville where 32-year-old Heather Heyer was killed, and over a dozen others were injured after 20-year-old James Fields Jr drove his Dodge Challenger into a crowd of people.
In Charlottesville, Cantwell was aggressive and made many references to violence along with derogatory statements about Trayvon Martin, and other African-American victims of police shootings. When told of Heyer’s death, Cantwell showed no sympathy and stated it was going to be hard to top next year’s rally in Charlottesville.
Just days later, the country saw a different side of Cantwell. In a video he posted to social media, Cantwell cried as he said he might have warrants in Charlottesville. A teary-eyed Cantwell claimed the white supremacists had done everything in their power to keep things peaceful, even though they talk a lot of shit on the Internet. It was this video that earned Cantwell the nickname, “Crying Neo-Nazi.”
Cantwell later learned that he did have a warrant for pepper spraying someone at the Charlottesville rally. His charges were two counts of the illegal use of tear gas or other gases and one count of malicious bodily injury with a “caustic substance,” explosive or fire, both of which are felonies. After turning himself in, a judge originally denied Cantwell bail. In February, Cantwell was denied a change of venue. If convicted, Cantwell could face up to forty years in jail.
Last week, Andrew “Weev” Auernheimer—who plays a vital role in keeping the white supremacist site The Daily Stormer online—released a private conversation between him and Cantwell. In the conversation, Cantwell says, “The feds want to bust Antifa, and I’m keen to help them.” The rest of the conversation reads as follows.
Weev: giving yourself an attack surface has only got you charged with a crime dude
Weev: and rescuing you from that situation took a lot of peoples money and time
Cantwell: Exactly, and now I’m facing 40 years in prison while the people who started all the violence are walking free. If the feds want to correct that, I’m gonna help them.
Weev: if you hadn’t talked to cops and media in the first place and had gotten scarce you wouldn’t be facing forty years in prison
In response, Cantwell posted an article titled “I Am A Federal Informant” on his website ChristopherCantwell.com. In the article, Cantwell says, “As for speaking to the FBI, I have hinted at this publicly, but I disclosed those details to Weev in confidence. His plastering our private conversation on a forum should speak to his reputation.”
Cantwell also appears to take a shot at Weev by saying, “We are being instructed to behave like criminals by a Jew in a foreign country.” Weev’s bloodline has been in question for many years. Before going to prison and joining the white supremacist movement, Weev said in a 2012 OKCupid post, “As an ethnic Jew of Bavarian origins that is a reasonably adequate summary of my night moves.” Weev also claimed to Gawker that he was of Jewish descent, but later recanted and blamed the outlet for misconstruing information.
In Cantwell’s confession, he continues to claim he was framed for his crimes by Antifa. He says the feds are the only hope of a “lawful remedy. “I intend to cooperate fully with any effort to bring these criminals to justice,” Cantwell said.
My attorney has already spoken with the FBI on my behalf, and we are soon to meet. I recently discovered that they were reading my emails when they followed up on a lead that could have come from no other source. While the authorities in Charlottesville and Albemarle have given license to masked thugs and terrorists to wage war on the streets, the FBI seems more interested in stopping the violence, which necessarily means leftists going to prison.
I would rather share a cell with these scum, than to see both sides go free. Luckily, the aforementioned lead is very exculpatory to my case, and to the overall narrative of Unite the Right. Stay tuned to the headlines, fellas.
