The Chester County District Attorney’s Office stated that 29-year-old Barry Baker of Coatesville had been arrested for assault after being caught on camera hitting a 22-year-old man with cerebral palsy in the face.

In the video, Baker is standing outside the door when the victim is seen leaving the store. Baker begins walking behind the victim and mocking him. Baker then swings and hits the man in the face and then continues opening his pack of cigarettes.

It was reported that Baker has an extensive criminal history, and has been in jail in the past for theft and forgery.

Baker is charged with simple assault and other crimes. Baker’s bail has been set to $25,000 and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 30. It is reported that Baker posted bail on Monday.
