Bad Self Eater burned the Internet with anti-abortion video.

BadSelfEater.com revealed today that weeks of speculation were for nothing.

  • Conspiracy theories spread throughout the web trying to figure out the meaning of BadSelfEater.

  • Strange dollar bills were found around the country building up to today’s video release.

  • T. Russell Hunter was the artist behind the strange bills.

For the last few weeks, mysterious dollar bills in conjunction with a strange website sparked a wildfire of conspiracies attempting to explain the meaning behind Bad Self Eater. Well, today Bad Self Eater burned the Internet with anti-abortion video.

The site behind Bad Self Eater.

BadSelfEater.com was a very simple website. All it had was a timer counting down, along with pictures of odd dollar bills that damned the federal government and spoke of the beast.

In the background played “Lacrimosa” from Mozart’s Requiem in D minor plays, followed by “Sacrificial Procession” from the film Apocalypto. Occasionally the color scheme changed as well.

Strange bills found around the country.

While the site was not impressive, the creator’s way of garnering bad-self-eater-burned-the-internet-with-anti-abortion-video-billsattention was. Strange bills were placed around the country. A Facebook page named, Mr. Teeth, which has since been taken down, gave confusing clues. Once everything was in place, the Internet bit, hook, line, and sinker.

Theories of what could happen when the timer reached zero spread quickly throughout the Web. Some believed that it was a build up to a data dump like nothing we have ever seen before. Others believed it was the collapse of our economy. Then there was the thought it was an art project, video game release, movie release, and of course, the rise of Satan.

It turned out the timer hit zero, and none of that happened. In fact, nothing happened. Once you refreshed the site, a video from YouTube was playing titled, “The Great Conspiracy.”

The Great Conspiracy.

The video played through the BadSelfEater YouTube channel. It has already been flagged for inappropriate content on YouTube and now has an age restriction to watch the video.

The opening shot is a man walking into the view of the camera and asking, “So do you see what happened today? Did you pay attention? Did you figure out the puzzle?”

After asking a few more times if people solved the puzzle, the video cuts to very graphic images of abortions taking place. What follows is a 27-minute long anti-abortion speech.

The video argues that while so many people spend time trying to find evil through conspiracy theories, evil is happening right in front of us through abortions. In the video, abortions are referred to as child sacrifices, that all of us are allowing to happen every day.

The video was created by a “abolitionist of abortion.”

The man in the video is T. Russell Hunter, a self-proclaimed abolitionist of abortion. Hunter appears to be close with AbolishHumanAbortion.com, if not being the actual creator of the site. This is the ideology behind Abolitionism according to the site.

Following in the footsteps of former abolitionist movements, we aim to end one of the greatest human miseries and moral evils ever to be entrenched in our world. Human beings are created in the image of Almighty God, the very Creator of the universe. The weakest and most helpless among us have been subjected by this wicked culture to accepted, legal, and systematic destruction.

While many are disappointed, and mad that Bad Self Eater did not bring the apocalypse upon mankind, Hunter’s marketing strategy to promote this message was nothing short of genius. Whether you agree with his logic or not, you have to give him credit for his execution.
